Q: How do I pack my golf clubs and Luggage for shipping?

A: All Golf bags and Luggage need to be in a hard case, travel bag, a box, or a FedEx/ UPS approved container. The container must be completely sealed which includes latches and zippers being secured. The shipping label should be attached to the container with a FedEx or UPS clear shipping pouch, or attached with clear packing tape. We also recommend putting a copy of your label inside the bag, and on the outside of your bag. This helps ensure the package will not be lost if the label on the outside falls off.


Q: How much insurance do I need?

A: The amount of insurance each customer feels they need will depend on each individual. Golf Overnight offers complimentary insurance on each shipment, but we also offer additional insurance to be purchased. We charge industry standard of $1 for every $100 of additional insurance beyond what is offered by Golf Overnight.


Q: Is there a weight or dimensional limit for my shipment?

A: Yes, on the “book shipment” page we offer a size chart for each item on step 3, and you can also see the size requirements by hovering your mouse over each item. If an item is selected, and the courier determines that it is larger than what the label was made for, then the item could be delayed and an extra charge issued.


Q: How far in advance can I schedule a shipment?

A: Golf Overnight prefers you book at least 1 week in advance, but you can book up to 180 days in advance.


Q: Can I ship multiple bags at once?

A: Yes, when selecting quantity you can adjust the number to match the number of bags you need to ship


Q: Can I add hotel check-in information to my shipping label?

A: Yes, on step 3 of checking out you can add comments and in this area you can add your confirmation number, check in date, and guest name. You also have the option to call or E-mail this information.


Q: Do I have to ship my golf bagin a box?

A: No, customers have the option to ship their package in a hard case, a box, or a travel bag. For more information please visit the FedEx and UPS websites for more packing guidelines.


Q: Where do I get a box?

A: Golf Overnight offers boxes for golf bags, single golf clubs, and more. We can ship any box directly to your house or office and even with the cost of shipping the box the price for a box is competitive to stores.

Local UPS and FedEx stores offer boxes for various prices, and golf boxes for around $15. Availability is not guaranteed so we recommend you call ahead.

Q: Who is picking up my clubs?

A: Golf Overnight will determine the courier depending on the shipment details. A driver from either UPS or FedEx can pick up your package from almost any address. All customers also have the option to drop their package off themselves at the courier.


Q: Can I ship my clubs from my home or office?

A: Yes you can ship your clubs from your home, office, golf course or drop them off at the nearest UPS or FedEx store.


Q: Do I need to be there for the pick up?

No, you just need to make sure the package is at the address listed and is easy to see and easily accessible for the FedEx or UPS driver. The front porch, near the garage, or in the drive way will work.


Q: Can I drop my clubs off at a UPS or FedEx Store?

A: Yes, you can choose to drop them off at your local UPS or FedEx store. The label sent to you will indicate which facility you will be required to go to.


Q: Can I ship internationally?

A: Yes, for international shipments please contact us to receive a quote.


Q: Can I create a round trip shipment to ship my clubs to and from my golf destination?

A: Yes, simply select round trip and select the pick up date you need your shipment picked up. This can be from your hotel, facility, office, or residence.


Q: What happens if my clubs don’t arrive before me?

A: If this happens please contact us, and one of our specialist will track your package.


Q: What if my shipment doesn’t fit any of the dimensions listed?

A: If you do not see your item listed on our website you can contact us us for a free same day quote.


Q: Are there items that I cannot ship?

A: Yes, there is a list of items that cannot be shipped in our Terms and  Conditions. Shipping any unauthorized items is a violation of Golf Overnight’s Terms of Service and may be in violation of local and federal law and may be subject to prosecution.
